A neighborhood breakfast room on Hosea L. Williams Drive where the French toast sandwich, grit stacks and salmon croquettes have anchored Kirkwood mornings for nearly two decades. Marchet Sparks opened Le Petit Marché in 2008 and ran it for 13 years before handing it to Osiris Ballard and chef Anthony Sanders of Atlanta Breakfast Club, who reopened it in 2021 promising to change nothing: the same mismatched tables and chairs, the same chipped plates, the same welcome at the door. Mornings and early afternoons only, and the room fills.

Insider Notes
Weekend lines have historically snaked out the door. Go on a weekday morning, order the French toast sandwich or a grit stack, and take the room as it is: mismatched chairs, chipped plates, unhurried conversation.
